Shah Alam, a drug dealer from Teknaf, has been arrested by the Uttara Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Police (DB) along with three thousand pieces of Yaba from the capital's Ramna area.
There are two drug cases against Shah Alam in Teknaf police station. His home is Huaikeng (Mina Bazaar) in Teknaf.
DB Uttara Division Assistant Commissioner of Police (AC) Shahidul Islam confirmed his arrest on Friday morning.

The operation was conducted in the area on the basis of such information.
During the raid, Shah Alam was arrested in front of a sweet shop on Siddheswari Circular Road. Three thousand pieces of Yaba were seized from him at that time.
"The arrested Shah Alam brought Yaba from Cox's Bazar to Dhaka with the help of another person and sold it. After checking the police records, it is seen that there are two more drug cases in his name in Teknaf police station of Cox's Bazar. A case has been filed against him at DMP's Ramna Model Police Station," added Shahidul Islam.
